Rescue story
Abraham came to us from Peaceful Pastures, our mentor rescue and the people who showed us how this work is done properly. He came in a group of jacks, and like the rest of them he arrived with a number instead of a name. He was number two. We called him Soot around the barn before his adopting family gave him Abraham. Both fit him better than a number did. He is gelded now and living an easy life in the main pasture. Nothing about his days requires him to be anything in particular, which after a lifetime of being one of many is not a small thing.
Virtually adopted
Abraham is looked after with the help of Mary Hammond, whose monthly support pays for feed, feet and vet care.
