Rescue story
Alexander came to us with his mother Giraffe, and the two of them together were our first rescue. That was back in Florida, years ago now, before we had any idea where this was going. We called him Eyore for a long time. His adopting family chose Alexander. Here is the part worth knowing. He and his mother are still bonded. Not tolerating each other, not simply sharing a pasture. Still together, after all these years and a move to another state. People assume animals forget. Some do. These two did not.

Alexander is looked after with the help of Flavel Collins, whose monthly support pays for feed, feet and vet care.
