Rescue story
Belle came to us as one of nine donkeys from a single home. Their owner loved them the way you love animals you have had a long time. Then a major change came into her life and the math stopped working, and she made herself face it. She could not keep them. So she found them a place and sent all nine together rather than parcel them out. We say ultimate act of love a lot around here. This is what we mean by it. Belle is a little white mini and she came off that trailer with her whole world still around her. Not one of those nine had to start over alone.

Belle is looked after with the help of Debby, whose monthly support pays for feed, feet and vet care.
