Rescue story

Dogwood has a best friend, and her name is Halo. We know this because for a long stretch that is how we told them apart. One of them was Dogwood and the other one was the friend, and they were never in two different places long enough for it to matter which was which. Donkeys do this. They pick somebody and they stay picked. It is not a preference the way people mean it, it is closer to a decision they make once and then never revisit. Dogwood is a standard donkey in the main pasture and she is available for adoption. Halo is too. If you are looking at one of them, look at the other one as well. They are a set.
