Rescue story
Gus is my favorite old man on this farm. I am allowed to say that. He keeps to himself. While the rest of the herd is doing whatever the herd is doing, Gus is off on his own, and he likes it that way. He is not lonely and he is not left out. He has just reached the age where he knows what he wants. But after every single feeding, he comes to get loved on. Every time. That is his part of the day and he does not miss it, and neither do I. He spent years being who knows what to who knows whom. Now he is an old man with a routine and somebody who looks forward to it as much as he does.

Gus is looked after with the help of Renee, whose monthly support pays for feed, feet and vet care.
