Rescue story
Jet came to us from Peaceful Pastures, our mentor rescue, as part of a group of jacks who all arrived together. He was Male number twelve. We mention the number because of what it tells you. There were at least twelve of them, one load, all needing names and feed and space and time. That is what taking in a group actually looks like. We called him Harpeth in the barn, after the river. His adopting family chose Jet. He is gelded now and settled in the main pasture. Twelve became a name, and the name became his.

Jet is looked after with the help of Janie, whose monthly support pays for feed, feet and vet care.
