Rescue story

Around the barn, Olive has always been Mama Bear. Nobody writes down why a name like that gets started. Somebody watched her do something, and it stuck, and now it is simply what she is called. Whatever it was, she earned it, because you do not get called Mama Bear for keeping to yourself. We do not know where she came from. Her history did not travel with her and nobody has been able to fill it in since. So what we have is a donkey with a name that suggests she looks after people, and a past that suggests nobody looked after her. She is a standard donkey in the main pasture and she is available for adoption.
