Rescue story

She is one of the Georgia 8, and she is the only one of them who does not have a name yet. All eight came to us from the same home in Georgia. Their owner had fallen on hard times and could not keep going, and instead of letting them go without she surrendered every one of them to us together. That was the ultimate act of love and we have never forgotten her for it. Her seven came off that trailer and one by one they became Gertie and Nellie and Jolly and JoJo and Enzo and Artie and Rost. She is still waiting. She was loved before she got here. You can see it in her. She has never had a reason to be afraid of a person and she is not about to start. She just needs somebody to give her a name.
