Rescue story
Picasso came here as part of a group of nine, all from the same home. Their owner adored them. That is not us being generous, it is the plain truth of it. But a major change came into her life, the kind nobody sees coming, and she reached the point where she could not care for nine donkeys anymore. So she surrendered all of them to us at once. Together, so nobody got left behind and nobody got split off. It is the hardest thing an owner can do and it is the most loving. Picasso came off that trailer with his whole herd intact and settled right in. He has never had to learn to trust people because nobody ever taught him not to.
Virtually adopted
Picasso is looked after with the help of Gail, whose monthly support pays for feed, feet and vet care.
