Rescue story
Punkinseed came to us from Peaceful Pastures, the rescue that taught us most of what we know. He arrived as Male number seven, one of a group of jacks who all needed somewhere to land at the same time. Around the barn we named him Clinch, after the river, along with several others from that load. Then somebody adopted him and called him Punkinseed, which is a far better name than any river we came up with. He is gelded now, living in the main pasture with a good many of the donkeys he arrived alongside. Same herd he came in with, better circumstances.
Virtually adopted
Punkinseed is looked after with the help of Nancy Dolan, whose monthly support pays for feed, feet and vet care.
