Rescue story
Rost is one of the Georgia 8, a group of donkeys who all came to us from the same home when their owner fell on hard times and made the loving choice to surrender them rather than let them go without. She arrived carrying a wound from a snake bite. It has healed, and these days you would never know to look at her. That is the thing about her group. Every one of the eight came in already knowing what care felt like, so the healing part was mostly physical. The trust was already there.

Rost is looked after with the help of Danielle Rost, whose monthly support pays for feed, feet and vet care.
