Rescue story

Saricka came to us as an Amish throwaway. She is blind, and she was used as a broodmare anyway, year after year, with nobody stopping to ask what that cost her. She is the sweetest girl. Whatever was taken from her along the way, it never once took her gentleness. She has grown very bonded with two of our newer arrivals, Jojo and Spartacus. The three of them look out for one another out in the blind pasture, and there is something about watching them together that is hard to put into words. Her name came here with her, and her name is staying. It is hers.
