Rescue story

Sequoia is a mini horse, and she was pulled away from her mother at only three months old so she would bring more money at auction. Three months old. When we saw her, she was terrified. We could not stand the thought of where she might end up or whose hands she might fall into, so we brought her home. She is slowly learning to trust us. She loves Scooby and the two of them are rarely far apart, and Velma has been kind enough to let her stay right there with the both of them. When she gets excited she takes off running with her tail fluffed up and held high. It might be the best thing on this whole farm to watch.
