Rescue story

Tarzan came to us from Georgia. He is in his twenties now, and this is not his first rescue. Before anyone got to him, he had been locked in a stall and fed bread. That is what he lived on. A horse built to graze and move and be part of a herd, shut in and given the wrong thing to eat because nobody thought it through or nobody cared. Somebody pulled him out of that once already. Then he needed pulling out again, and that is where we came in. Here is what gets me about him. After all of that, he is the most gentle, kind horse you will ever put your hands on. He loves kisses. He loves being groomed and will stand there for it as long as you are willing. Not one bit of what happened to him turned him hard. We love him. It is that simple.
