Rescue story

Velma came to us from a kill pen in Texas. She arrived with Sequoia and her own baby boy Scooby, along with Freckles and Pippi. She had been dumped at auction when Scooby was only a day old, and she was terrified. A mama that frightened with a newborn at her side is a hard thing to see. She has been the best mother from the very first day. She never stops watching over Scooby, and she has been sweet enough to let Sequoia stay right there with them too. Earning her trust took time and a lot of patience. Now she takes treats right out of my hand. She knows she is safe here. She lives with Cash's family.
